The 1000HD series of T3DSOs from Teledyne LeCroy comes with a deep memory of up to 25 MS per channel (100 MS in single-channel mode) and a faster sampling rate of up to 500 MS/s (2 GS/s in single-channel mode).
The portable T3DSO1000HD series of Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes now extends the powerful and proven oscilloscope platform to the entry-level class with 12-bit vertical resolution. Users benefit from simple and intuitive user interfaces, numerous analysis options, and 16x higher vertical resolution.
The T3DSO1204HD oscilloscope has a bandwidth of 200 MHz. The deep memory also allows for capturing larger time windows at fast or maximum sampling rates. To utilize the full bandwidth, the digital bandwidth must be considered, which corresponds to the Nyquist frequency, i.e., half the sampling rate. The more memory available, the larger the time window can be set without violating the Nyquist theorem.
A completely new feature in this oscilloscope category is the Bodeplot, for example, for measuring low-pass filters. This can be done using an external optional USB waveform generator or an external waveform generator from the T3AFG series.
The T3DSO1000HD oscilloscope is used for troubleshooting, developing electronic circuits, and decoding and triggering serial signals such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, LIN, and FlexRay. The T3DSO1000HD oscilloscope is also well-suited for applications in the field of power electronics thanks to its chaining of math functions, the combination of current clamps and differential probes, and the Power Measure Analysis software. The touchscreen makes working with this powerful measuring device very convenient.

Decoding serial protocols
Triggering and decoding for analyzing serial data protocols, including embedded protocols such as CAN, Flexray, I2C, SPI, and UART, are available as standard for the T3DSO1000HD series. The combined display of decoded protocol content with the measured line signal enables simultaneous evaluation of the physical and protocol layers, facilitating development and debugging.
Optional - Digitale Logikanalyse - Mixed Signal Mode
Mixed Signal Mode allows for the simultaneous acquisition and combined display of analog and digital signals. The T3DSO1000HD series devices can be optionally expanded with a 16-channel logic analyzer.
Segmented recording and history mode
Dividing the acquisition memory into individual segments significantly increases efficiency when recording certain signal types, such as pulse sequences with longer pauses. This allows optimal use of the available memory for the relevant signal content.
In History Mode, you can scroll backward through the most recently recorded acquisitions and thus make comparisons between the individual recordings. Definitely a helpful option for troubleshooting.
Bodeplot with optional external USB-AWG module or external T3AFG
The T3DSO1000HD Bode Plot application can drive an external 50 MHz USB AWG or an external T3AFG to automatically perform Bode Plot measurements of passive or active components and circuits. The application scans the amplitude and phase response versus frequency. The external USB waveform generator enables Bode Plot measurements up to 50 MHz.
Fast update rate
With up to 120,000 data acquisitions per second in normal mode and up to 500,000 data acquisitions per second in sequence mode, no signal detail remains hidden. Modulations and signal anomalies can be detected and displayed even more precisely.
